Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 500g lean minced beef
  • 1 packet Continental® French Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 cup (250mL) water
  • ¼ cup Woolworths Select Tomato Sauce
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 cups mixed lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 medium avocado, mashed or sliced
  • ½ cup grated tasty cheese

Directions

  • Heat oil in pan and brown minced beef until cooked through.
  • Add Soup Mix pack contents, water and tomato sauce; simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
  • Split and lightly toast hamburger buns.
  • Top base of each toasted bun with lettuce, tomato and avocado; spoon over meat filling and sprinkle with cheese before placing bun tops on burgers.
